WhatsApp going to launch its first digital payments service in India soon.

WhatsApp has a big market and huge users in India, having over 200+ million users. India facing a little bit problem with digital payments so WhatsApp step over and plans to launch its digital payment service in India in coming days or months.

WhatsApp is becoming very popular having more than 1.2+ billion user and its start to monetize itself by giving many features as WhatsApp can.

E-payment application has growing phase in India as Indian government announce demonetization in India last year. Old 500 and 1000 notes replaced with new notes so people mostly uses online transactions, wallets, payments like Paytm, online banking apps etc. So WhatsApp want to try for E-payment in its messenger application.

WhatsApp also launched end to end encryption for its users, to make app and peoples chat more secure. And this encryption is available for all WhatsApp users with all platforms.

While WhatsApp grows very popular but it not able to monetize. It also dropped its annual fee as a WhatsApp crosses one billion users.

Let’s see weather WhatsApp become a giant in e-payments or not.
